Friday, November 16.
Peggy and I are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and financial aid that so many of you have given.
We have rented a house in Thousand Oaks and are buying furniture. Our dogs are still in the kennel but we hope to get our furry friends out by Sunday. One day at a time for the moment.
We have lost all of our books and DVD’s that were stored in our garage. In other words, all our inventory is gone. Picking up the pieces and we hope to get up and rolling in a few weeks. We’ll see. L. A.
____________________________________
We lost everything our house and studio are all gone as well as all of our products that were stored in our garages.
The place looks like an A-bomb hit it. There’s nothing left… nothing.
We are homeless.
God will bring good out of this because that’s what He does.
In the meantime, we have created a gofundme page.

I cannot inagine the heaviness and sense of loss you are feeling. GOD will Restore. Praying.
So sorry to here that………..
So sorry. I was praying that the fires wouldn’t affect you. We know that this is a hindrance from the enemy. I pray that Jehovah God will restore you ten-fold like he did Job!
Thank you for all your good work. ?
I experienced this, lost it all and my neighborhood. It is devastating and yet, God restored it all and then some. It just takes time. You will recover. god is faithful.
Just prayed that God will restore at least 7 times over what the thief has stolen.
I stand in agreement with Debra.
To think we just saw you in Georgia! Our hearts go out to everyone . I believe you will experience just how many people love you ! You have always been in my prayers, but I will pray more specific ones now. Love and blessings always!
May God’s peace be with you and Peggy. I look forward to seeing the blessings our Lord is sending you from the ashes of destruction. I believe we will see just how great our God is.
Oh, LA, I’m deeply saddened to see this news. You and Peggy are heavy on my heart. Thank God your pets, daughters, and yourselves are all safe. Much love to you, brother. Keep us informed!
I am so very sorry…prayers…
So sorry for this happening to you. We will be praying for you both and for The Lord to restore all you have lost.
May Yahuwah be with you and bless you.
This is so hard to hear! I’m sure you are in a state of shock right now. I am so thankful you have the Lord to guide and comfort you all. Imagine the ones who do not. ? Praying for you and all affected. I hope this will affirm to you how much support you really do have and how many people genuinely care for you. God bless you and your family. ❤️
Thank you for all you have done for us through your ministry. May you carry an extra blessing on your life as you continue to walk into an amazing future and let all shock & trauma be carried by the Father himself.
Sad to hear the news LA–I know it will work for the good. “All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.”
Dear brother George, may I share Romans 8:28 with you? A common misunderstanding of that verse is that calamities like cancer, fire, accidents etc. work together for good. However, we know these things do not work together for good. They destroy and kill, something hasatan is good at. Rather, the verse can be understood in context. Romans 8 is addressing the salvation and the Holy Spirit helping our weaknesses through the intercession that he is making. Looking at Romans 8:37, it says, “Nay, in ALL these things we are more than conquerers through him that loved us. I don’t think you mean that LA’s home being burned to the ground is working together for good. We must pray that LA will have everything destroyed to be returned unto him 7 fold. Shalom and blessings to you George!
May HaShem restore 7x that which the enemy has stolen. I am sorry, but also outraged that hasatan destroyed your home. He WILL repay. I pray the Shalom of G-d on you LA and your family. Perhaps G-d is using this to tell you to move to a different state.
Our hearts are heavy at the news…God is, and always will be, in control. God Bless and watch over you both! We are praying for you…and ready to help!
Oh LA and Peggy I am so sorry. Prayers for you and may God restore your abundantly.
So sorry to hear this LA. May God restore all you have lost. Blessings to you and your family.
Continuing to stand with you and Peggy and family in prayer as you make the transition to a new beginning. Abba always brings surprising good out of tragedy, but I realize when we go through tragedy, we need the support of others who understand enough to stand with us through it.
You will rise up and continue to a greater degree of power and authority, for Abba is with you to strengthen you. I say this from many years of experiences with Abba’s faithfulness. I am sharing your requests, as you wrote them, with those on my ministry subscription list. Shalom! Yedidah
Dear brother, this is rough! Father must have great plans, to allow this to happen in spite of our prayers.
Much love from the Netherlands
LA and Peggy… You are so greatly loved by all of us, as we know God’s hand is upon you and your work for Him. May He restore you and bestow His blessings upon you 100- fold for all you have lost. And may he increase your ministry in ways you’ve only imagined.
I stand in agreement with Marilyn.
Praying for you L. A. Now’s a good time for you to think about moving to Texas.
May the Lord bless you and abundantly multiply your loss. Thank God you and your wife are safe!
We are saddened to hear of what’s happened LA and are praying for you and your family.
To paraphrase Matthew 6
Stop being anxious about your life, what you will eat, what you will wear. Is not life greater than food and the body more than clothes.
Do not worry about tomorrow….Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.
Easy to say sitting safe in my house, but on the flip side when you have “everything”, it can be difficult to lean on faith.
Pray you will be blessed through this trial.
LA and Peg (and family), my thoughts and prayers have been with you since I first heard about this fire. Thank God you are safe!! I lived through a similar disaster in 2003 when a fire tornado wiped out 500 houses right where I live. My house survived, but many friends lost everything. From this experience, let me encourage you.
The LORD looks after us, even in disaster. It’s going to be hard for at least the next year and a half. Sometimes you’ll wonder if anything will ever grow again, and then you’ll see a tiny green shoot emerging from scorched ground, and be reassured. The fire took what was above the ground, but all the work you invested in the soil is still there. You’ll see even scorched trees start to regrow.
Friends and neighbours will gather and work together to rebuild. After our fire disaster there was no power and the water supply was heavily polluted with debris. Neighbours with water tanks shared water. People gave their clothes to neighbours who had lost everything. We shared torches and mobile phones and radios. We handed out sandwiches to the workers who were replacing all the powerlines and poles, miles and miles of them.
We hung out at the local mall because it was air conditioned and our streets looked like war zones. The whole place stank of the fire for a long time – but charcoal is great for the soil. For a year, we heard constant sounds of demolition as crews worked their way through the burnt out houses. For another year, we had the constant sound of rebuilding. Many neighbours didn’t have the heart to rebuild and moved elsewhere.
The pine forest that had accelerated the bushfire into a tornado, now reduced to ashes, was replaced with new suburbs and we’re still trying to get used to it. The whole landscape changed and we no longer recognised it.
Fifteen years later, we haven’t forgotten that horrible day and night when the unthinkable hit our suburbs. We’re very sensitive to bushfires. The government lets us know every time they’re burning off. They make public announcements about the smoke and tell us it’s not a bushfire.
The most important and lasting memory from all of this is the heavy peace of the LORD that settled all around us, as we evacuated in the scorching darkness, and the next morning as we returned to our homes and discovered the extent of the night’s disaster. Before leaving, I placed my hand on the doorpost and prayed, “Lord, You gave us this house. Thank You. I leave it in Your hands.” I knew, whatever the outcome, the LORD was in control. I still dream of that eerie night, when the streetlights were yellow, and the only traffic was firetrucks with their lights on, heading to the fires that virtually surrounded us. The inexplicable peace enfolded us like a blanket.
We rebuilt. We replanted. We worked hard to recover. It took time, but the LORD was with us every step. I pray that the LORD will continue to sustain you and your community as you deal with this disaster. You have a lot of friends out here in the world. You’re not doing this on your own. God bless you.
Dear Brother, I wish that I could offer more than prayers for you and Peggy, but I will send them to the Father in your behalf. Stand fast and remember that he “will” look out for you! God Bless.
Hang in there, LA. The world needs your message. You and Peg will rebuild. Your ministry will go on. We know your faith is strong, we see and hear this in your broadcasts. Set your face like flint and persevere, buddy.
LA and Peggy, fear not, the Lord is with you. Though things seem rough with this tremendous setback at having to re-build a home and business, but please take a moment to consider that with the care and compassion of the fellowship/followers you have built up over the years, and hopefully good insurance, you will be able to develop something that may even be better suited to the new life you are going to create with your wisdom, knowledge and God’s help. Your good friend Tom Horn may have some suggestions and insights from his experience of this type catastrophe.
You may have gotten “lemons” from the evil of this world, but your faithful fans will
When my kids were small and spilled or broke something, I would tell them God just wanted them to learn how to clean up a mess or fix/replace a broken toy. That helped set them on the solution instead of the situation. Hope this is helpful and of course my prayers are with you.
You may have gotten some big “lemons” from the evil of this world, but your faithful fans will help you make “lemonade”!!!!!

Is it just me or do these raging fires seem odd? I live in the pacific northwest and have been around wildland fires. The sudden explosive (sometimes oddly selective) nature of these fires is incredible.

My heart is heavy for you and your wife. I’m in agreement with those above. What the devil has stolen, God will replace. Love you L A. Tennessee has some great places to live.
I’m certain you’re already witnessing an outpouring of love from fellow believers because of your labor in the gospel. True Christians still abound on the face of this planet. They number several millions. Satan is irritated. Nothing he can do against the kingdom of Christ. He has further fuelled your determination to carry on. Onward Christian Soldier LA!

So very sorry for your loss, your house, guest house, gardens, decks, etc.. sounded beautiful and a true labour of love! Praying that the Holy Spirit will surround you with the comfort, love and peace that you and your family need at this time! One thing I know for sure is the HE is building you an incredible mansion in heaven – just for you, for eternity!
30 years of my labor up in smoke.
Praying for you to be rebuilt and come back better than ever before.
Most likely moving to Oklahoma as the permit process will take 2 to 3 years. I can’t afford to rent some place and pay the mortgage on the property that we lost!
Your friends Al, Robby, Ed, and Gordy in Canada are praying for you and Peggy and your daughter. Please let us know what your present situation is so we can pray more specifically. Robby called me
for to ask for your phone number. May God’s Spirit and Peace guide you and your family. I hope you find the following verses bring comfort and faith. Romans 8:
[31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[33] Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
[34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
[35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thanks Gordy & Al!
Hi LA and family, as everyone has said God will restore. Fires are horrible and I am glad your family is safe. I know this may sound a little odd, but felt the Holy Spirit nudge me to send you this verse,” John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” This physical fire was devastating but you still have the fire of the Holy Spirit in you! Keep the fire of the Holy Spirit as there are many souls that need your God Inspired work!
Gods Blessings!
Thousand Oaks??! evil trees! they are flamable, run while you can! Doncha wanna rent in economical Compton or Inglewood?
Well, if you ever doubted what the impact of your ministry was… now you know.
God had used you to touch people’s lives so much, that they have felt compelled to give and exceed the goal that you set! These are people who have dug deep and have given, expecting nothing in return – because they believe in you and what you do.
Now, YOU’VE gotta dig deep. Make a resolve to trust the Lord like never before, and come back twice as strong. The time is short. We need people like you who can speak the truth with love.
“‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. ‘Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you.”
JEREMIAH 29:11-12
Thanks for the kind words Mike!
We can certainly impathise with you. We survived hurricane Michael with minimal damage, but some of our friends lost everything. Our prayers go out to you and Peggy.
