Ephesians 6:10-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

I want to call your attention to the portion of scripture that I highlighted in blue. Paul is making it very clear that our struggle is not with earthly powers but:
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
When we look at what is happening in the world around us we sometimes forget this important insight into what is really taking place. We don’t connect events unfolding in the present to their source which is from:

spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places

Ephesians 6, is a look into the ongoing war between the Dragon i.e. Satan and The Most High God. In my opinion, the heavenly war is ramping up and there are a myriad of reasons for this. One is Israel has now been reestablished in her ancient homeland, thus fulfilling prophecies and starting the end-time clock ticking.

Another would be the rise of lawlessness that seems to be worldwide with groups like ISIS, Antifa, and those promoting the Abortion Holocaust that has claimed over 1 BILLION babies lives.

There is a Satanic agenda. There is a Luciferian end game. It is playing out in the present.

We see it manifest in the senseless shootings by people who are hearing voices, to the sudden rise of demonically possessed people, to the censoring of conservative Christian voices.

Some of you may not want to hear this but it is a reality. However, in the midst of this tumult, we know this: Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world. This scripture should be in our quiver of weapons that we use against the enemy. We should remind ourselves of this every day. It is a kingdom principal!

The last part of this chapter admonishes us what we need to do. We are supposed to put on the armor of God. When we do this we’re putting on Jesus. We’re clothing ourselves in His salvation, His righteousness, His truth, His peace, His measure of faith and finally the Word of God itself.

Let’s put our armor on today and girding up the loins of our minds—by taking every thought captive—stand against the end-time Luciferian agenda.

Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world. _______________________________________________
