Jerusalem – Israel’s Eternal Capital

Commentary & Analysis

Today marks a historic day for Israel. After decades of being promised by former presidents of moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, the promise was made good. Our president Donald J. Trump, unlike the others presidents that preceded him, kept his word and moved our embassy to the eternal capital of Israel, Jerusalem.
Of course, HAMAS is protesting on the Gaza border and Iran is calling for global resistance.
I’m sure most of you have heard this but it’s timely to state once again here. Jerusalem is NEVER mentioned—not once—in the Koran. It is mentioned 669 times in our Bibles.
Jerusalem was founded by King David. The Jewish prophets declared God’s word from there. The Temple was constructed, destroyed by the Babylonians and then rebuilt under King Cyrus… all in Jerusalem.
Mark Twain, when he visited Palestine—the name given to the Holy Land by the Romans as an insult to the Jews— wrote this:
.[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds-a silent mournful expanse….A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action….We never saw a human being on the whole route….There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”
There is a reason for the tension and it is this:
“The current political landscape is in direct correlation to supernatural events that, in some cases, happened millennia ago.”
L. A. Marzulli from Politics, Prophecy & the Supernatural
There are two conflicting sets of supernatural events that have colored the body politic. On one hand, we have Moses and the miracles that God worked through him in bringing the Jewish people into the promised land i.e. Israel. On the other, we have the visitations of an angel to Mohammed which brought about the Koran.
The results of these supernatural events are being played out on the world stage. Can both be right?
Then there are the prophecies about Jerusalem that we find in our Bibles. The fact that the Jews are back in their homeland after thousands of years of diaspora is living proof that the God of the Bible says what he means and means what he says.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

  1. Tel Aviv is the capifol of STATE of ISRAEL, not Jerusalem; no countries recognise Jerusalem except the embasies of Ecuadore and Guatemala which were purchased outright. What is to say about Jews in Israel, other than few are independent because they aren’t the original agricultural tribes? According to Strobo book16 and Josephus they originate in the Arab region east of Judah know as Edom and the nose knows they aren’t the Shephardic hosts few of them married into when Rome rules Judea declaring them Jews shortof landlocked Edomites. Was it book of 2 Kings where Jacob was at war with the Jews?
